About the Role
As a Senior Strategic Account Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in expanding Uber Eats’ footprint in the UK Grocery & Retail sector. You’ll be a strategic problem solver, excelling in project and partner management, while driving innovative growth strategies tailored to the local market.
What You Will Do
- Own key grocery relationships: Serve as the primary point of contact, building and maintaining long-term relationships with strategic partners.
- Drive business growth: Collaborate with partners to develop and execute strategies that expand their business, including location deployments, marketing efforts, and sales growth.
- Lead commercial discussions: Engage in negotiations to foster sustainable and mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Enhance operational efficiency: Identify and implement improvements in processes, tools, and resources to drive operational success.
- Utilize data-driven insights: Analyze performance metrics to prioritize initiatives with the highest ROI, ensuring continuous growth and improvement.
- Shape partner interactions: Define and refine the approach for interacting with merchant partners, ensuring optimal alignment with Uber Eats’ goals.
What You Will Need
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of customer or client-facing experience, preferably in Tech, Retail, or FMCG.
- Proven track record of exceeding business targets and delivering results beyond expectations.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to navigate complex business environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across various business levels.
- Experience in process optimization, with the ability to translate big-picture ideas into actionable plans.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience managing executive-level relationships in a customer-facing role.
- Demonstrated success in project management, particularly with large-scale, complex initiatives.
- Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to make informed, strategic decisions.
- A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively across teams and functions.
- A champion mindset: able to thrive in a dynamic environment, overcome challenges, and drive continuous improvement.
