About The Role & Team
We are looking for a VP of Design to lead our suite of products at Amplitude. This individual will partner closely with fellow leaders in Product Management, Engineering and Go-To-Market to craft a delightful multi-product experience for our customers. This position requires a design leader who thrives in creating clarity, is comfortable navigating complex domains and has experience designing for technical and non-technical customers.
As a VP of Design, you will:
- Be a key member of Product Development Leadership, working closely with engineering, product management, and Go-To-Market to bring our vision to market
- Define, direct and influence strategic vision for the Amplitude suite of products, bringing together multiple product areas into a holistic experience
- Lead and grow our product design organization that is responsible for how 1000s of customers capture the right data to understand and optimize their digital experience
- Play a key role in customer, prospect and partner interactions, and be a strong voice for Amplitude in the broader product community
- Create broad visibility into learnings and impact; develop organization-wide understanding of and enthusiasm for the strategic impact your team delivers to the company
