Mid-Level Life Safety Systems / BIM Designer

Overview

We are seeking a Life Safety Systems / BIM Designer for assignment. The selected candidate will work on projects including semiconductor manufacturing, data center facilities, and other state of the art manufacturing and research facilities.

Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Candidates can sit in one of the following locations:

• Austin, TX
• Phoenix, AZ
• Pittsburgh, PA
• Albany, NY
• Portland, OR

Responsibilities

- Create 3D models in coordination with Architects and Engineers

- Design Fire Alarm Detection Systems, HPM leak detection, Toxic Gas Management Systems, Security and Intrusion detection systems

Qualifications

- High School Diploma or GED

- 3+ years’ Life Safety Systems design experience with Fire Alarm Systems, Voice Evacuation, Gas Detection, VESDA, Access Control and/or CCTV

- Proficient in AutoCAD

- 3+ years experience with Revit

- Revit experience is highly preferred

- Knowledge of  IFC, IBC, NFPA 70, NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, and NFPA 72 Fire Alarm and Signaling Code is highly preferred
