The Team

HP Inc. is one of the leaders in Inkjet Technology. We work to maintain this position while adding new technologies and innovative products to our portfolio. We invent, develop and bring to market new technologies and capabilities as well as integrate these technologies into our systems. Our focus is on printing and imaging technologies as well as pursuing broader alternative technologies and research with an eye toward commercial applications. We are dedicated to providing advanced innovative solutions to our partners and customers.

We develop technology for printers that fit in your pocket or fill a semi truck, printing pocket sized memories to billboard signs. We are defining the future of printing in 2D and 3D

Join a team dedicated to developing, manufacturing and testing cutting edge products for the next wave of printing technology! Positions include MEMS engineers, fluidic architects, design engineers, reliability engineers, ink development, writing system engineers, process and tooling engineers and product engineers.

Education and Experience Required

• Currently enrolled in a four-year college and returning to school following the internship.

Preferred Majors: 

• Computer Science
• Software Engineer
• Business or Marketing as secondary degrees

 Skills

• Chat GPT , Generative AI / GenAI,  LLM = Large Language Models, ChatGPT, Airflow, AWS experience, Databricks scheduling and running experiments, Jobs in Databricks - Programming experience (e.g., Java, Python, R)

Project

• Complete market analysis:
• Identify other HW-based products in the office environment that are utilizing AI; detail examples.
• Characterize how ready office customers are for AI provided by a printer vendor
• Identify key pain points that could be addressed by AI or opportunities for practical AI applications in the office environment
• Understand how other printer vendors are embracing or planning to embrace AI. 
• Identify barriers to AI adoption in the office environment

You must be enrolled in a university program working towards a Bachelor’s

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is $25 -- $28hourly. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
