  • Bachelor's degree
  • 12+ years agency experience, including as a manager of others
  • Experience leading and managing large-scale Rx branded, unbranded, and corporate social media campaigns
  • Expertise across all established social platforms and best practices, including full understanding of precedent across existing branded social pages
  • Solid understanding of technology and digital platforms, particularly the implications of automation of data and true omnichannel systems.
  • Working knowledge of how machine learning and AI can influence audience experiences and potentially benefit our clients.
  • Full understanding of US pharma regulatory guidelines & governance requirements (and the ability to assess OUS guidelines), as well as the commercialization steps
  • Ability to articulate the value of and make the argument for social and digital media within the wider PR and marketing landscape
  • Ability to assess feasibility of tactic, creative, or module in regulatory environment compared to client goals and audience-based needs and preferences
  • Impeccable presentation skills to inspire C-level clients and colleagues alike
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, online services, and willingness to jump into any software solution
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement digital health engagement campaigns for our top-tier pharmaceutical clients
  • Implement social content publishing models for clients, including educating (and selling) clients on content creation/syndication, paid amplification, and building/overseeing an editorial team that can scale as required
  • Ensure your team’s work promote high-value with an audience-first mindset
  • Drive the internal conversation of emerging trends and online developments as they affect healthcare
  • Identify and participate in thought leadership opportunities to help promote the firm’s digital health capabilities
  • Lead a team of junior digital health strategists and ensure their professional growth through mentorship activities and modeling client collaboration skills
  • Promote a team environment that supports growth and development
  • Participate in new business pitch development and presentations
  • Apply advanced knowledge of the regulatory landscape and understand its implications toward the healthcare industry’s use of social media
  • Contribute to measurement plans for success against campaign goals and achievable outcomes, defining those goals and objectives for the client
  • Author and guide advanced digital strategy documents, e.g., ecosystems, channel plans, measurement plans, CRM planning, data-driven triggers, multi-channel or omnichannel rationale
  • Proactively generate and pitch new ideas and opportunities to ensure client program success and bring about organic growth
  • Partner with finance, HR, MDs, and Executive Leadership Team to accurately forecast, staff and scope for long-term work
