Responsibilities
  • Be responsible for the technical SEO roadmap
  • Conduct comprehensive SEO audits to identify issues and opportunities for optimisation
  • Collaborate with development teams to implement best practices in web architecture and coding for SEO functionality
  • Play an active part in the product team, sharing insights and ideas to enhance the MailOnline products for readers
  • Provide insights and detailed recommendations to development teams to optimise website speed, performance, and mobile responsiveness to enhance user experience and search rankings
  • Monitor and report on key technical SEO metrics using analytics tools, providing actionable solutions to enhance website performance
  • Have ownership of maintaining and improving SEO hygiene by monitoring GSC errors, prioritising issues and implementing fixes (including sitemaps, robots.txt etc) + assessing the impact of all site releases and changes on SEO performance
  • Stay updated on the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and industry developments to keep our strategies ahead of competitors
  • Support Global Head of SEO
