Requirements
  • At least 6 years of experience, preferably as a technical/operations manager or team lead in a fast-paced, product-oriented company
  • Proven track record of managing teams with exceptional attention to detail and a strong ability to uphold high standards across the team
  • Comfortable dealing with large datasets and skilled at translating them into actionable insights that drive business decisions
  • Fluency in English is a must (other languages considered a huge plus)
  • Experience working with Python, and/or common transit data formats (GTFS, TransXChange, Siri, Hafas, etc) is a plus
Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of highly skilled and motivated Data Analysts, the driving force behind Citymapper’s exceptional data quality
  • Work with engineers to build for scale by improving tools and automating tasks, ensuring the highest data quality for all regions
  • Develop and evolve new ways of measuring and improving data quality, and work with the marketing team on telling that story
  • Collaborate with other teams at Citymapper, Remix and Via to facilitate product development and delivery, customer success and retention, and user growth
  • Ensure data quality in web and mobile products so that users continue to love and trust Citymapper

Via transforms traditional transportation systems into efficient digital networks, catering to urban and rural clients, including students, corporate employees, and patients. Its TransitTech technology enhances transit networks with flexible and cost-effective mobility solutions, improving convenience and efficiency for riders. Via streamlines operations, particularly in student transit, and offers planning, scheduling, and consulting services through its Remix platform, enabling clients to design effective transit networks. The award-winning Citymapper for Cities app provides passenger insights to strengthen transit systems, while Via also offers corporate and campus shuttles to facilitate employee commutes. Additionally, Via supports the healthcare sector by ensuring patients have reliable transportation to appointments. The company's goal is to leverage digital technology to enhance transportation efficiency, reduce costs, and improve the overall rider experience.
