What you’ll be doing
Own the product vision and roadmap for the current and future generations of delivery robots (from their capabilities, design, to cost) as well as the support products for daily operations (from charging and data offloading to deployment improvements).
Work cross functionally with every stakeholder from Operations, Hardware engineering, Software, and Design to urban policymakers to define the opportunities, measure performance, and iterate.
Responsibilities
Own the cross functional roadmap for hardware features that push forward the robots’ delivery capabilities, safety while balancing the need to scale and cost down
Develop requirements, user stories, and acceptance criterias that distill real world events, stakeholder feedback, technical trade-offs, and data analysis into actionable features
Inform the next generation of robots by setting requirements from cargo capabilities to sensor capabilities to speed, steering, and beyond
Own the roadmap for auxiliary products that help operations scale 1,000s of robots into new Operational Domains (from charging to secure storage)
Help inform new sensor selection based on business requirements and partnership needs
Qualifications
7+ years shipping features, products, and/or product lines as a Technical Product Manager/Product Owner with experience in Autonomy and/or Robotics or IoT devices
Excellent communicator with the ability to quickly craft requirements that concisely articulate the problem and approach
Experience partnering with diverse Engineering disciplines from hardware to software
Technically fluent and a fast learner who will be comfortable discussing technical approach and tradeoffs
