Requirements
  • Relevant professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent) is a plus
  • Minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in an accounting and related function
  • Understanding of Financial Services Provider will be considered as a plus
  • Sound technical accounting and regulatory experience (i.e. Lux Gaap and CSSF)
  • Advanced Excel skills essential, system experience of 3e beneficial
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required to develop close working relationships with colleagues, clients and business contacts
  • Ability to self-motivate and take ownership, combined with a team-work mentality vital
  • Strong attention to detail critical
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for all aspects of accounting for Aztec Financial Services (Luxembourg) S.A., ensuring integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of all financial records.
  • Ensure a robust and continually evolving control environment, including maintenance of all balance sheet reconciliations
  • Review of work of the team to ensure quality control
  • Work with the Group Reporting team to produce reports related to Luxembourg entity
  • Creation, analysis and support of management information to the business within agreed timetables
  • Responsible for the development and delivery of management and statutory financial statements (in Lux GAAP)
  • Effective business partnering across the multiple jurisdictions and product groups, engaging with the business in managing working capital, expenditure and projects
  • Develop a proactive approach to analysis of financial data going beyond timely and accurate preparation to understanding and communicating why and where action is required
  • Management of the interim and year-end audit process
  • Preparation of periodic direct and indirect tax returns and reconciliations
  • Preparation and submission of periodic CSSF Reporting
