Product Manager

The Role

As a Product Manager at Oakbrook Finance, you will lead the roadmap for automation, platform enhancements, and GenAI integration—delivering high-impact improvements at speed. You will work as part of a collaborative, cross-regional team to shape and execute product strategy, manage the product lifecycle, and drive customer-centric innovation. This role demands strategic thinking, technical fluency, and a strong bias for execution, contributing directly to Oakbrook’s mission to simplify and personalize borrowing through data and technology.

What You’ll Do

• Lead with Customer Discovery: Conduct structured customer interviews and research to uncover deep pain points and opportunities. You'll use frameworks to shape clear problem statements and prioritise what's truly worth solving.
• Prototype with AI: Use GenAI and no-code tools to rapidly test concepts, design workflows, and simulate product behaviour. You will drive fast experimentation cycles to validate assumptions with minimal cost and time.
• Let Data Be Your Superpower: Use AI tools to gather insights from both qualitative and quantitative data. You'll define and track key metrics to find early signals of product-market fit and present data to validate or invalidate your hypotheses.
• Be the Connector: Work closely with our teams, leadership, and engineers to refine solutions and champion a customer-obsessed, product-led mindset across the business. You will operate as a bridge between teams, resolving ambiguity and pushing for better outcomes.
• Codify and Scale: Help us build the future of product development by documenting your AI-augmented approaches in playbooks that will help embed this new, agile way of thinking across Oakbrook.

• Can break down complex, ambiguous problems into clear hypotheses, logical steps, and structured tests.
• Demonstrate structured, logical, and first-principles thinking.
• Are energised by building scrappy solutions fast, validating them, and learning from what doesn't work.
• Use AI as a co-pilot to sharpen your thinking and achieve more than you could before.
• Have experience in founder roles, product thinking, operations, innovation, or customer strategy.
• Are excited to work in a fast-moving, venture-building environment with global teams.

About You

You are an experienced and proven product manager, ideally with experience in the finance sector. You possess strong spoken and written communication skills and thrive in fast-paced environments. You are passionate about building impactful products that improve customer outcomes and are comfortable navigating ambiguity and change.

Additional Notes
