Requirements
  • A bachelor’s degree in Market Research, Marketing, Project Management, or Supply Chain Management is required.
  • At least five years of experience in the job offered or as a Pricing Analyst in the prescription and over-the-counter generic pharmaceutical business is required.
  • Knowledge of pricing analysis, contract negotiation, product costing, contract compliance including most-favored-nation clauses, SAP enterprise resource planning, Power BI, Salesforce, pricing strategy development, revenue growth, and margin expansion is required.
Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze pharmaceutical pricing and rebate structures across the generic pharmaceutical business for prescription and over-the-counter products, and prepare pricing models for new business opportunities using product costing insights to recommend competitive pricing.
  • Create profitability analyses for requests for proposals, price adjustments, and new product launches.
  • Conduct pricing analysis using advanced Microsoft Excel and maintain pricing data in SAP enterprise resource planning, Power BI, and Salesforce.
  • Develop and implement pricing and contract standard operating procedures to ensure adherence across Sales, Finance, and Customer Service.
  • Compile monthly commercial operations status summaries for C-suite executives.
  • Research and analyze new market opportunities and overall profitability to support pricing strategy development, revenue growth, and margin expansion initiatives.
  • Review pricing accuracy in SAP enterprise resource planning and iContracts to ensure contract alignment and accurate customer pricing.
  • Coordinate internal and external customer pricing communications.
  • Ensure customer pricing complies with contractual terms, including management of most-favored-nation clauses, and support contract negotiations.
