CrowdStrike named a Leader in the inaugural 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Cyberthreat Intelligence Technologies. May 5, 2026 - 13:41 CrowdStrike positioned furthest right for Completeness of Vision among all vendors evaluated CrowdStrike announced it has been named a Leader in the inaugural 2026 Gartner(R) Magic Quadrant(TM) for Cyberthreat Intelligence Technologies. CrowdStrike positioned furthest right for Completeness of Vision among all vendors evaluated. As adversaries weaponize AI to collapse the defender's window of response, CrowdStrike transforms threat intelligence into agentic adversary disruption, delivering intelligence at the point of decision-making, at the speed of the threat. "CrowdStrike pioneered adversary-driven intelligence, using frontline findings to stop real-world attacks," said Adam Meyers, head of counter adversary operations at CrowdStrike. "By combining the industry's deepest understanding of adversary operations with agentic systems that reason across threat data and exposure risk, hunt adversaries proactively, and take decisive action across the kill chain, CrowdStrike accelerates outcomes and stops breaches." From Static Threat Intel Reports to Agentic Adversary Disruption CrowdStrike sets the industry standard for adversary intelligence, tracking over 280 of the world's most sophisticated nation-state, eCrime and hacktivist groups. In its view, the Gartner inaugural report based on the Cyberthreat Intelligence category confirms what adversary behavior has already made clear: threat intelligence is no longer a reporting discipline, it is an operational one. CrowdStrike's agentic threat intelligence drives a market transformation, delivering agents that reason across adversary behavior, hunt proactively, and disrupt attacks across the kill chain at machine speed. "By combining the industry's deepest understanding of adversary operations with agentic systems that reason across threat data and exposure risk, hunt adversaries proactively, and take decisive action across the kill chain, CrowdStrike accelerates outcomes and stops breaches." - Adam Meyers, head of counter adversary operations at CrowdStrike Threat AI, the industry's first agentic threat intelligence system, reasons across threat data, hunts adversaries proactively, and takes decisive action across the kill chain, pursuing and disrupting adversaries at machine speed and accelerating threat response at the speed of the AI-enabled adversary. CrowdStrike's expanding fleet of AI agents transforms finished intelligence into agentic adversary disruption, exposing adversary tradecraft and closing critical gaps at the speed of the adversary. The CrowdStrike Falcon platform brings detection and response, intelligence, and exposure management together in one platform. The same data used to detect a threat informs the agentic intelligence that explains it, identifies exposed assets and attack paths, and helps organizations operationalize Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM) as part of adversary-driven defense, disrupting the adversary without handoff. CrowdStrike's Threat Intelligence & Hunting capabilities are continuously informed by real-world decisions from CrowdStrike Counter Adversary Operations' team of elite threat hunters and intelligence experts. Powered by trillions of daily security events and industry-leading expertise, the Falcon platform operationalizes agentic threat intelligence at scale, connecting external threat activity to internal exposure risk and enabling real-time action across SIEM, SOAR, XDR, cloud and SASE environments to stop breaches.

Anthropic has launched Claude Mythos Preview, an advanced AI model specialising in identifying software security flaws, as part of its new cybersecurity initiative Project Glasswing. CrowdStrike Holdings has been selected as a partner in the project, which has limited rollout to prevent exploitation of the model's capabilities. Wedbush analysts have named CrowdStrike a top cybersecurity pick, noting the company is keeping pace with AI model advancements. The Austin-based firm operates a cloud-native security platform using AI for threat detection and automated response. CrowdStrike's shares have gained 2.82% over 52 weeks but are down 19.14% year-to-date. Fourth-quarter fiscal 2026 revenues rose 23.3% year-over-year to $1.31 billion, slightly exceeding analyst expectations of $1.30 billion.
CrowdStrike shares trade at $426.51, approximately 15% below Wall Street's consensus price target of $489.86, despite reporting record fiscal 2026 results. The company achieved $5.25 billion in annual recurring revenue, 47% year-over-year net new ARR growth, and its first-ever positive GAAP net income. The stock has fallen over 20% from its 52-week high of $566.90, largely due to concerns about AI disruption following Anthropic's announcement of its Claude Mythos cybersecurity model. Social sentiment dropped sharply from 74 in early March to 28 by late March. Despite the pullback, 42 analysts maintain Buy or Strong Buy ratings, with zero Sell ratings. Management targets $20 billion in ARR by fiscal year 2036, suggesting Wall Street views the sell-off as disconnected from underlying business fundamentals.
CrowdStrike has increased its share repurchase authorisation by $500 million to $1.50 billion and expanded its partnership with HCLTech to offer Continuous Threat Exposure Management services on its AI-native Falcon platform. The moves combine capital returns with product innovation to address cyber security risks. The HCLTech partnership reinforces CrowdStrike's strategy to deepen ecosystem integration across endpoints, cloud, identity, applications and data. However, investors face diverging outlooks. Optimistic projections see revenue reaching $8.7 billion by 2029 with 22% annual growth, whilst lower-ranked analysts forecast only $7.3 billion in revenue by 2028. Rising AI-driven security costs and competitive pricing pressure remain key risks despite the platform's enterprise adoption momentum.
