Requirements
  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field is required.
  • 3 years of experience in an administrative or related analytical field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), Monday and other database tools.
  • Familiarity with contract management software is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for corresponding with stakeholders.
  • Good critical thinking skills to address minor issues and discrepancies.
Responsibilities
  • Monitor the status of existing contracts, track expiration and renewal dates, and assist with processing of new contract requests and modifications.
  • Review contract submissions for accuracy and compliance with basic vendor and Finance requirements.
  • Maintain contracts and contract metadata in database tools, ensuring completeness of file records/tickets and amending databases as necessary.
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on basic contract matters. Communicate regularly with business stakeholders and vendors to resolve simple issues.
  • Work with Legal, Risk, IT and business leaders to monitor and progress tickets within the defined phases of the end-to-end process and drive movement within defined SLAs.
  • Monitor and alert leaders to requests that exceed or are not included in current budget guidelines and assist with financial analysis of contracts.
  • Prepare and distribute routine and ad hoc reporting including contract status, financials, and performance metrics as needed.

Stax Sold to Grant Thornton Advisors

Blue Point Capital Partners has exited Stax through a sale to Grant Thornton Advisors, supported by New Mountain Capital with $55 billion in assets under management. During their partnership since October 2021, Stax tripled its team and achieved 35% annual growth. The firm expanded globally, launched new service lines, and enhanced capabilities. Financial advisors for the transaction were William Blair and Baird, with legal counsel from Jones Day.
