- A valid non-commercial driver's license, a clean driving record, and a valid medical card are required.
- Willingness to work full-time hours of approximately 40 hours per week.
- Six months of driving experience with tractor trailers and/or straight trucks.
- Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations.
- Passing the seven-year FADV review in the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
- Experience operating vehicles safely.
- Experience with Department of Transportation compliance, logging hours, and roadside inspections.
- Confidence with road-check levels one through three.
- Proven longevity in past employment.
- A flexible, customer-focused approach and reliable on-time delivery practices.
- Safely collect, deliver, and store medical waste containers at customer locations.
- Provide customer service and build positive customer relationships.
- Operate straight trucks as large as 26 feet safely.
- Complete deliveries according to schedule and clearly communicate changes or challenges.
- Load and unload containers and prioritize and organize the truck according to the schedule and service needs.
- Manage routes according to leadership direction and deliver timely, efficient, and effective service.
- Comply with Department of Transportation regulations, log hours, and complete roadside inspections.
- Perform heavy lifting.
