Experience Level
  • Hands on experience performing basic and advanced embryology techniques with experience in in-vitro fertilization required
  • Bachelors Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Laboratory Science, or related discipline is required, Masters Degree preferred
  • Proven work experience within a clinical laboratory setting
  • Collecting and preparing of oocytes for insemination
  • Analyzing and preparing of specimens for insemination or for ICSI
  • Assessing fertilization and zygote quality following insemination
  • Daily assessment/grading and handling of embryos through Day 6 of in vitro culture
  • Cryopreservation and thawing of embryos at varying stages of development
  • Preparing embryos for intrauterine transfer
  • Ability to provide status update and contribute to the laboratory staff in reference to the appropriateness of clinical specimens
  • Adhering to all standards, policies and procedures associated with safety, sanitation, confidentiality and company operations
  • Must be well-organized and efficient
  • Analytical oriented
  • Occasional travel to other clinics may be required for training and/or meetings
  • The schedule is primarily Monday - Friday, 40 hour workweeks
  • Occasional overtime and weekend shifts required
  • Other duties as assigned
