Storyblok CLI v4.14.0: Pull and Push Stories and Assets

Storyblok CLI v4.14.0: pull and push stories and assets. Storyblok CLI v4.14.0: pull and push stories and A... Storyblok CLI v4.14.0: pull and push stories and assets. Storyblok is the first headless CMS that works for developers & marketers alike. With the latest release of the Storyblok CLI, Storyblok GmbH introduce powerful new stories and assets commands for pushing and pulling content. The stories and assets commands enable advanced workflows, such as migrating content from a legacy CMS, transferring stories and assets from one space to another, or quickly making a local backup of your content. Storyblok GmbH is excited to see how you use these features to streamline your custom content workflows. Migrate content from a third-party CMS. The new push commands make it straightforward to push local stories and assets from third-party CMS data to Storyblok, and the CLI handles mapping ID-based references from legacy CMS data structures to the IDs Storyblok generates. Example: WordPress migration The following example demonstrates how to quickly migrate content from WordPress to Storyblok using the CLI. * Map your external content to the Storyblok story JSON structure. * Place generated story files under .storyblok/stories/TARGET_SPACE/{slug}_{ID}.json. * Ensure required components exist locally: storyblok components pull -space TARGET_SPACE. * Run storyblok stories push -space TARGET_SPACE (use -dry-run first to validate). This approach allows you to programmatically import legacy data while maintaining relational integrity between your stories. Space-to-space migrations. If you want to migrate stories and assets from one Storyblok space to another, the new stories and assets commands have you covered as well. With the commands above, Storyblok GmbH push all stories from space A to space B while keeping references and links intact. Bulk updates. Imagine you need to update the alt meta information for an image and also update the meta information in all stories that reference it. Storyblok GmbH has added an -update-stories flag to do exactly this in one command: When pushing a single image, the -data flag enables Storyblok GmbH to reference the particular asset ID where Storyblok GmbH want to update the image and the meta_data that Storyblok GmbH want to update. By default, when updating asset metadata in Storyblok, the metadata of this asset in stories that use it remain unchanged. However, with the -update-stories flag, Storyblok GmbH can update all stories that reference this asset, too. Backups. Another use case the stories and assets commands enable is to quickly create a local backup of your content: Conclusion. Those are only some of the many use cases the new stories pull/push and assets pull/push commands enable. Storyblok GmbH can't wait to see what you'll build with this new version of the Storyblok CLI.

Storyblok partners with OtterlyAI to support brands with new AI search revolution

Storyblok partners with OtterlyAI to support brands with new AI search revolution. Storyblok has partnered with OtterlyAI, a provider of AI search monitoring solution for marketing teams and brands. The partnership is a key part of Storyblok's mission to help brands adapt and thrive in the new era of AI-powered consumer decision making. AI search is a process that uses AI technologies, such as natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning (ML), to understand the meaning and intent behind user queries and deliver highly relevant, often personalised, results. Unlike traditional search, which relies primarily on exact keyword matching, AI search focuses on semantic understanding and context. With this partnership, brands can now monitor how their content performs across multiple AI search engines compared to competitors. They can also discover how they can optimise it to improve their AI search visibility. OtterlyAI currently supports ChatGPT, AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Google Gemini, Copilot, and Perplexity. The move reflects the rapid change in consumer behaviour since the advent of generative AI. Gartner has predicted a 50% decline in organic search traffic by 2028 as users embrace AI search. As a result, brands require powerful new tools to help their marketing strategies adapt to remain relevant. OtterlyAI enables users to accurately assess their strengths and identify areas for improvement for purposes of Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO). Examples include how often AI Search answers cite a business's website. Alternatively, how often the business are mentioned in prompts about a specific industry or subject. Storyblok says it offers the robust and intuitive tooling required to implement the necessary changes and effectively address any identified shortcomings. Key partnership features include: * Competitive Benchmarking: Compare your brand's visibility with competitors - e.g. see if "Shoe Company A" appears more than "Shoe Company B" in AI responses and why. * Brand Monitoring: Track how AI tools describe your company, products, or competitors - e.g. ensure "Shoe Company A" isn't missing from "best sustainable sneakers" results. * Content Performance: Measure which articles, guides, or landing pages are most cited in AI answers - then refine directly in Storyblok. * Localisation Insights: Check if your localised content (like German or Spanish pages) is showing up in regional AI searches, then adjust translations and metadata in Storyblok. * A starting point: Prompt Discovery & Topic Insights: No need for manual prompt checking because OtterlyAI suggests AI search prompts based on your keywords, brand name, or website links. As a result enterprises know exactly what people are asking. Re-writing search rules. Dominik Angerer, CEO and Co-Founder of Storyblok said, "Brands are in shock by how rapidly the rules of the internet are being rewritten. Buyers are now searching for information by asking questions on platforms like ChatGPT. This means the role of a company's website has to dramatically shift. It's no longer about publishing as much content as possible - this can actually damage a brand on AI search engines. "The first step to adapting to this new normal is understanding how and why a brand is performing on AI search engines. Then acquiring the tools to adapt and optimise their new strategy. This is exactly what our partnership with OtterlyAI achieves. It gives companies the critical insights they require and the platform to efficiently deploy a new AI-forward strategy that will enable them to thrive in this new internet era," Angerer adds. Thomas Peham, CEO and Co-Founder of Otterly.AI, said: "AI search upends many of the marketing rules brands have built their strategies on for the past decade or more. Failure to quickly adapt will mean brands will rapidly lose visibility and accurate representation on the internet. This, in turn, will severely undermine their performance to the benefit of their competitors. "This is why we have teamed up with Storyblok. Its powerful content management platform and our industry-first AI search engine insights are the ideal ecosystem to give brands the power to survive, adapt and thrive." Enterprise times: what this means for businesses. AI search is a generational transformation in marketing and changes all the traditional search rules of engagement. Enterprises have to juggle a multitude of channels to manage their brands. After spending time, effort and resources building up search ranking, they now have to come to terms this new reality. Enterprises have to get to grips with understanding and managing AI search. Together, OtterlyAI and Storyblok are expected to create a potentially powerful ecosystem that highlights areas for optimisation. It also provides the practical means to achieve enhanced performance and productivity. They aim to support brands to optimise their content to substantially improve visibility and results across AI search engines.

Storyblok and Netlify unite to supercharge content deployment speeds, reduce costs and increase security

Storyblok and netlify unite to supercharge content deployment speeds, reduce costs and increase security. * By: Wise Marketer Staff * Posted on November 6, 2025 Partnership will enable brands to instantly deploy content in Storyblok worldwide using netlify in a move designed to help companies adapt to the impact of AI on marketing. Enterprise CMS Storyblok has partnered with AI-native web development platform Netlify. The tie up will enable brands to close the gap between content management and project development - opening the door to faster and more reliable content deployment times at scale. The partnership is the latest move from Storyblok to help brands adapt to the impact of AI on their web presence. With consumers increasingly using AI search engines, companies have found that the visibility and accuracy of their brand online is suffering. This has necessitated new marketing strategies - particularly overhauling content hosted on websites. Storyblok's partnership with Netlify is ideally placed to help brands quickly develop, structure and deploy their new content on a performant, AI-ready platform. Using Netlify with Storyblok will provide teams with one connected workflow from creation to deployment. Developers can use any frontend framework they want and trigger automatic deploys with every published content update. Marketing teams can publish changes in Storyblok and see them live within seconds through Netlify's global edge network. This creates a host of benefits for businesses including a lower total cost of ownership, no server maintenance costs, high reliability, faster site launches and enhanced security. The collaboration with Netlify follows a host of product and partnership announcements from Storyblok that are designed around enabling brands to stay visible and confident on the internet. Last week, Storyblok announced a partnership with AI search monitoring solution OtterlyAI to enable brands to monitor how their content performs in multiple AI search engines against their competitors, and discover how they can optimize it to improve their AI search visibility. "We've seen it over and over again - customers nailing the content side but struggling to get that project out into the world quickly, reliably, and at scale. Their marketers wait days for pages to go live, while their developers spend nights patching servers or untangling deployment scripts," Dominik Angerer, CEO and Co-Founder of Storyblok, said. "With AI upending content strategies, these delays and pain points are simply not tenable, that's why we've partnered with Netlify. It takes care of the heavy lifting behind the scenes: global hosting, edge delivery, caching, scaling, so teams can create and ship amazing projects." The web is evolving into a space where both humans and AI agents interact with content," said Mathias Biilmann, CEO and co-founder of Netlify. "Agent Experience (AX) is about designing sites that communicate clearly to both. Our work with Storyblok helps teams publish structured, intelligent sites that perform well today and keep pace with the AI-driven changes shaping the web." About Storyblok. Storyblok is a headless CMS that enables marketers and developers to create with joy and succeed in the AI-driven content era.
