Shipt, Inc. seeks a full-time Senior Engineer. This role will develop smarter ways to connect with shoppers, optimize intelligence, and maximize operational success as part of our Shopper Operations initiative. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar field (foreign equivalent accepted) and 3 years Software development experience or similar role (e.g., Software Engineer, Software Developer, Software Test Engineer, Quality Engineer). Work experience must also include at least 2 years of experience with the following: (1) applying functional and object-oriented paradigms; (2) designing and interacting with complex persisted data models; (3) REST principles and designing APIs that follow REST principles; (4) SOA, micro-services, and/or distributed architectures; and (5) Asynchronous/Multi-threaded Programming Patterns. This position is fully remote and may telecommute from any location in the U.S. Limited travel to company’s offices for work reasons may be needed.
