Requirements
  • A minimum of a BA/BS degree from a 4-year university in a design-related discipline.
  • 5+ years of professional design experience.
  • Experience across all phases of the design process, including user research, ideation, workflow creation, high-fidelity mockups, and prototyping.
  • Experience collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team of marketing, communications, biz dev, scientists, researchers, and engineers.
  • An online portfolio that effectively demonstrates proficiency in foundational design principles, including layout, composition, color and typography.
  • Ability to grasp complex ideas and translate them into clear and engaging visual narratives (charts, graphs, icons, animations, etc).
  • Expertise in brand development and the consistent execution of brand elements across all organizational assets.
  • Knowledge of current industry standards for optimizing user experience on web and mobile platforms, with experience in designing wireframes and mockups.
  • Proven experience using Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Adobe AfterEffects, Figma, etc.) and presentation software.
  • Motion graphics experience is preferred.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects concurrently with tight deadlines, delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver on a broad range of creative initiatives, including web UI/UX, social content, key presentations, infographics, digital UI, wireframes and other visual assets.
  • Establish a robust visual design system, that includes digital, physical, still and motion graphics.
  • Create innovative and forward-thinking design solutions while upholding and championing our brand standards.
  • Ensure complete alignment across all touchpoints, including business, brand, marketing, communications, hardware and software.

PsiQuantum is developing the world's first commercially useful quantum computer with a photonics-based architecture, leveraging pre-existing manufacturing processes and infrastructure.
