Requirements
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Prior Customer Service experience
  • Prior experience in Correspondent lending or Secondary Marketing
  • Preferably located in the western region
  • Working knowledge of all aspects of loan processing
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage time, multi-task, and prioritize work
  • Solid commitment to customer and associate service
  • Outstanding interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook)
  • Knowledge of internet browsers and basic knowledge of Mortgage banking
  • Working knowledge of loan programs and services (Conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loans)
  • Understanding of industry regulations and specific policies of the lending institution
  • Ability to use independent judgment skills to make quick decisions within written policy and standard operating procedures
  • Ability to monitor and oversee loan production pipelines
  • Required to work both remotely and on-site
  • Designated workspace free from distraction and excessive noise
  • Some travel by car or plane will be required
Responsibilities
  • Responding to internal and external inquiries
  • Resolving file issues with appropriate areas
  • Responding to questions regarding Correspondent loan process
  • Providing exceptional customer service
  • Managing pipeline for assigned region
  • Identifying potential issues and providing proactive solutions
  • Providing training and support for file delivery
  • Conducting new client onboarding calls
  • Assisting with additional duties such as reporting
  • Supporting other regions and departments
  • Accompanying Account Executive on client visits
