  • Professional experience in the automotive industry
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and CAN communication
  • Proficiency in CAN data loggers or related data acquisition systems
  • Proficiency in CAN analysis SW (Vector CANalyzer, Intrepid Vehicle Spy)
  • Technical familiarity with automotive communication protocols (J1939, J1979, OBDII, J1708, etc)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Creative problem-solving with limited direction
  • Self-starter mentality
  • Ability to work with people from different time zones
  • Willingness and availability to travel
Responsibilities
  • Expand diagnostic coverage across the fleet of MMYs
  • Become the subject matter expert on automotive standards
  • Collaborate with firmware engineers
  • Consult and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Understand vehicle architecture and industry trends
  • Create system test plans and automate them
  • Perform field validation and build vehicle simulations
  • Conduct root cause analysis
  • Champion cultural principles
