Requirements
  • 5+ years proven experience in deal desk or commercial sales finance roles—ideally within a technology enterprise sale environment
  • Strong understanding of sales cycles, solutioning processes, and Salesforce
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret commercial data and model scenarios
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or similar field
Responsibilities
  • Commercial Coordination: Partner with Sales to co-ordinate the commercial strategy throughout a deal lifecycle, from intake to approval, ensuring alignment with key cross functional stakeholders
  • Workflow Management: Maintain approval matrices, track deal status, and ensure timely execution across stakeholders
  • Proposal Structuring: Collaborate with Sales and Solution Architects to shape proposals that reflect ESW’s value proposition and commercial strategy
  • Pricing & Commercial Modelling: Build and maintain commercial models where needed to optimise deal pricing and win strategy. Partner with Finance where needed
  • Pre-Sales BI: Partner with our Pre-Sales BI team to develop a deep technical understanding of our forecasting process, ROI modelling & CX review. Bring insights and ideas to iterate and improve on our internal modelling
  • Sales Enablement: Support onboarding and training initiatives by embedding deal desk processes into enablement content
  • Revenue Intelligence: Work with RevOps to deliver dashboards and insights on deal velocity, approval bottlenecks, and win rates to inform leadership decisions
Desired Qualifications
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc) is a strong plus
