Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent related professional experience.
  • 2+ years of software development engineering experience or related experience.
  • Experience in system design, problem solving, and object-oriented coding skills. Highly preferred: Java Experience.
  • Experience developing in cloud environments. Preferred: AWS, Containerization/Kubernetes, Spark/Streaming, UI development frameworks like react,node.js.
  • Experience delivering and supporting highly available and scalable solutions.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Knowledge in DataDog, Splunk, or other application monitoring tools.
  • Knowledge in building CI/CD pipelines.
  • Passionate about learning new things and sharing knowledge with others.
Responsibilities
  • Work in small, agile teams to design, develop, test, and maintain services
  • Build cloud-native streaming data, real-time processing, and data lake platforms at scale
  • Ensure all software meets the highest standards of performance, security, and scalability
  • Review pull requests, and lead by example on code refactoring for readability, extensibility, and testability
  • Leverage CI/CD techniques and tools to maximize delivery speed and reliability
  • Embrace change, always open to replacing what you built yesterday with something better today
