  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a diploma, Associate Degree in Nursing, or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Michigan.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee resident care and ensure adherence to established policies and procedures.
  • Assign staff and monitor their activities while providing for residents' physical, mental, and emotional well-being in accordance with the Michigan Nurse Practice Act.
  • Attend and participate in ACE.
  • Attend monthly CNA and nursing meetings for assisted living and skilled nursing facilities.
  • Make recommendations and work with the Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, and directors to identify areas requiring education.
  • Coordinate clinical orientation for assisted living and skilled nursing facilities.
  • Coordinate annual training and skills competencies, including monthly and quarterly models, for assisted living and skilled nursing facilities.
  • Serve as Infection Control Coordinator for assisted living and skilled nursing facilities.
  • Track and log psychotropic medications.
  • Conduct medication administration audits.
  • Provide backup for skilled nursing clinical team members as needed, including narcotics destruction, skin monitoring, fall monitoring, and admission audits.
  • Participate in the on-call clinical leader rotation.
