Job Description:
Summary
The experienced Senior Environmental Manager to lead our environmental initiatives and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to minimize the environmental impact of our operations, promoting sustainability, and driving continuous improvement in environmental performance.
Regular Job Duties
- Develop and implement environmental policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Lead environmental impact assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with environmental standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate environmental considerations into business decisions and project planning.
- Monitor and report on environmental performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Manage relationships with regulatory agencies, ensuring timely and accurate reporting and compliance.
- Lead initiatives to reduce waste, energy consumption, and emissions, promoting sustainable practices across the organization.
- Provide training and support to employees on environmental policies and best practices.
- Stay current with environmental legislation and industry trends, ensuring Webber remains at the forefront of environmental management.
- Prepare and manage budgets for environmental projects and initiatives.
- Represent Webber in environmental forums and industry groups, promoting our commitment to sustainability.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in environmental management, with a proven track record of success in a senior role.
- In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex environmental challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in project management, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Certification in environmental management (e.g., ISO 14001) is a plus.
- Proficiency in using environmental management software and tools.
- Passionate about environmental sustainability and committed to making a positive impact.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a drive for continuous improvement.
