Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in environmental management, with a proven track record of success in a senior role.
  • In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex environmental challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in project management, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Certification in environmental management (e.g., ISO 14001) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using environmental management software and tools.
  • Passionate about environmental sustainability and committed to making a positive impact.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement environmental policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Lead environmental impact assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with environmental standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate environmental considerations into business decisions and project planning.
  • Monitor and report on environmental performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Manage relationships with regulatory agencies, ensuring timely and accurate reporting and compliance.
  • Lead initiatives to reduce waste, energy consumption, and emissions, promoting sustainable practices across the organization.
  • Provide training and support to employees on environmental policies and best practices.
  • Stay current with environmental legislation and industry trends, ensuring Webber remains at the forefront of environmental management.
  • Prepare and manage budgets for environmental projects and initiatives.
  • Represent Webber in environmental forums and industry groups, promoting our commitment to sustainability.
  • Other unlisted duties will be assigned.
Desired Qualifications
