A speech-language pathologist to assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders. Job duties may include:
Assessment and Diagnosis of patients such as:
- Evaluate patients’ levels of speech, language, or swallowing difficulty.
- Identify treatment options based on the assessment findings.
- Create individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
Additional Job Description
Education: Postgraduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an ASHA accredited program. Work Experience:At least 1 year.Certification/Licensure: Current SC state licensure required.ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
