What you’ll Do:
- The Analyst, IT Endpoint Operations, is a critical role responsible for owning and managing the organization’s endpoint devices to ensure optimal performance, security, and compliance. Acting as a self-starter with minimal oversight, the Analyst takes full ownership of the imaging process and endpoint management solutions. This position requires proactive customer interactions at all levels and collaboration with internal teams to enhance the digital experience for our modern mobile workforce. The Analyst is expected to be a team player who contributes significantly to the success of the Endpoint Operations Team.
Ownership of Endpoint Deployment and Configuration:
Lead the Imaging Process, ensuring endpoints are prepared and available for Acquisitions, Greenfields, New Hires, Lifecycle Refreshes, and Provisioning with minimal supervision.
- Develop and implement operating system settings by collaborating with Endpoint Operations Administrators to support a standardized and secure user environment that balances productivity and protection.
- Conduct Endpoint Image Testing and Security Assessments to ensure devices meet organizational standards and security requirements.
- Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for mobile and end-user computing endpoints, ensuring clarity and consistency across the organization.
Device Security and Mobility Management:
Manage the Mobile Device Management (MDM) strategy within endpoint management systems to secure and control access on employee devices, proactively protecting sensitive data while empowering mobile work.
- Monitor the threat landscape continuously and implement proactive mitigation strategies to ensure the security of all endpoints.
- Perform Vulnerability Assessments and Remediation on endpoints that fail the patching process, taking initiative to resolve issues promptly.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to patching, policy enforcement, and compliance on endpoints independently.
- Utilize endpoint management tools to monitor device performance and compliance, generating regular reports on endpoint health and security status for stakeholders.
System Health and Optimization:
Proactively monitor system performance using endpoint management tools to identify and resolve potential issues before they impact employee productivity, demonstrating a proactive approach.
- Provide expert troubleshooting support for desktop and application issues, prioritizing remote resolutions to maintain a seamless user experience for all customers.
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of endpoint devices, including deployment, configuration, maintenance, and retirement, taking full responsibility for their optimal functioning.
Customer Interaction and Team Collaboration:
Engage with customers at all levels, providing exceptional support and ensuring their endpoint needs are met efficiently.
- Partner with the IT security team to align desktop management practices with the organization’s broader security posture, promoting a culture of shared responsibility and collaboration.
- Contribute actively as a team player, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals and enhance overall team performance.
- Manage knowledge base articles for the Endpoint Operations Team, creating clear documentation and knowledge-sharing resources to empower others and ensure consistency in processes.
- Assist with Team Projects and travel as needed (up to 25%), demonstrating flexibility and commitment to team objectives.
Requirements We Look For:
2+ years of experience in desktop support or a related field, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Proven track record of owning processes related to deploying, configuring, and managing endpoint devices successfully.
- Strong foundation in cloud-based technologies and their application to desktop management (e.g., Azure Active Directory integration, Jamf, MECM, Chocolaty).
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues proactively and implement effective solutions with minimal oversight.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with customers and team members at all organizational levels and explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Self-motivated and independent, adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while being a supportive team player.

- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for automation tasks.
