Technology and Business Analytics Intern, Master’s/Graduate - Summer 2023
Job Description:
This Technology and Business Analytics Intern will be responsible for supporting our business and technical resources in a variety of projects to positively affect the delivery of technical enterprise deliverables. For the duration of this internship, the selected candidate will focus on a variety of projects including, but not limited to: Business and Systems Analysis, Architecture Analysis, Database Administration, Metrics and Reporting improvements, Test Execution, and Automation.
This is a 100% Remote position. All applicants will be considered, but applicants in Georgia, Kentucky, New Hampshire, and Virginia are preferred based on team location. This internship will be 10 weeks, from June 5th – August 11th. This internship will be structured as a full-time, 40 hours per week position.
How you will make an impact:
Analyzing business needs and developing technology solutions
Interpreting data and preparing it for presentation at key project meetings
Supporting the team with Project and Portfolio Management
Conducting business process analysis across broker and employer services areas
Identifying and documenting areas of improvement
Developing high level project plans to achieve identified areas of improvement. Plans will include scope, risks, and action steps, communications, and training plans.
Provide senior leaders (Director and VP level) status of assigned tasks and consolidated opportunities.
Supporting ad-hoc projects related to Information Security, Audit, and Compliance
Minimum Requirements:
Currently pursuing a Graduate degree at an accredited college or university with a major in Business Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related graduate program.
Knowledge of Java, SQL, .NET/C#; Mainframe, Service Oriented Architecture, Oracle, SQL Server; Operating Systems, Weblogic, IBM WebSphere
Applicants must have a 3.0 GPA or higher
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
Excellent Problem-solving, Analytical, and Organizational skills
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Candidates with intellectual curiosity, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to both learn and apply knowledge quickly are greatly preferred
