Requirements
  • Highschool Diploma or GED
  • Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, engineering, business or similar is preferred
  • 5+ years industrial sales experience
  • 3+ years of outside sales management / supervisory experience
  • Experience within the Fluid Process industry is highly preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of computer/Mincron packages
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Ability travel within region via air or ground
Responsibilities
  • Develop annual forecast and business plan for the region
  • Accountable for the financial health of each branch operations within region
  • Oversee all functions of branches including Sales and Marketing, Warehouse, Collections, Purchasing, and Administration
  • Develop relationships with personnel, key customers, and vendors
  • Responsible for recruitment, selection, and hiring for all positions in the region
  • Coach and mentor employees to achieve excellence and promotability
  • Supervise employee training, reviewing, coaching, and terminations
  • Keep abreast of competitors and market changes within territory
  • Support and implement company policies and philosophies
  • Set goals and motivate employees to achieve excellence in performance
  • Create a supportive work environment and empower employees to make informed decisions
  • Hold employees accountable
  • Ensure personnel are engaged in productive activities consistent with business objectives
  • Use entertainment as a tool to facilitate building relationships
  • Communicate company vision and overall direction to employees
  • Maintain positive atmosphere and upbeat morale within region
