Requirements
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in facility management or vendor management.
  • Demonstrated organizational, project planning and management skills.
  • Technical writing skills.
  • Good writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Good training and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to develop, analyze and understand complex processes.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Power BI.
Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, coaching, and guidance to team members; participate in recruiting, recommend compensation adjustments, and manage performance.
  • Generate and dispatch service request work orders to vendors according to established processes.
  • Review priority work orders, communicate with vendors, and follow up to ensure timely resolution and key performance indicator requirements are met.
  • Review work orders to ensure they are closed out or reassigned to technicians or vendors.
  • Inspect vendor-closed work orders and verify complete and accurate closeout details, including cost, work completed, and equipment tag number.
  • Run reports on open work orders and check status with appropriate vendors.
  • Update work order statuses when completion or resolution is verified during follow-up.
  • Respond to vendor inquiries about work-order issues and client inquiries about current or past work orders, including status, issues, warranties, and escalations.
  • Correct system information, including addresses and phone numbers, and add new vendors and locations to the system.
  • Review and resolve invoice referrals, escalations, and invoicing errors.
  • Review and approve billing for technical services and invoices for payment in Oracle.
  • Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoicing matters.
  • Coordinate calls and emails with vendors and clients regarding work-order status, creation, or cancellation.
  • Act as the main point of contact between the client and vendors, technicians, and other parties for approvals, questions, and issues.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for service issues.
  • Manage specific emergency work orders from start to finish when required.
  • Request client approvals.
  • Review preventive-maintenance work orders and follow up with vendors as needed.
  • Participate in and gather information for quarterly business reviews and fulfill client reporting needs.
  • Execute quality and compliance activities supporting contractual obligations.
  • Interface with BGIS and client management to identify applicable regulatory and compliance requirements and ensure shared understanding.
  • Assist with reviewing related processes through compliance process capability studies to identify and correct inefficiencies and inaccuracies.
  • Provide input to the planning, development, execution, and improvement of compliance-related processes and programs.
  • Assist with implementing compliance processes through coordination, process documentation, and presentation content.
  • Identify quality, compliance, and contractual issues, communicate them to appropriate management teams, and work with those teams to resolve them.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Veritas Capital to acquire facilities manager BGIS. July 17, 2026 | John McNulty Veritas Capital has agreed to acquire BGIS from CCMP Capital Advisors and Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo). BGIS runs and maintains buildings and facilities - offices, data centers, and government, healthcare, and industrial sites - for large public and private organizations, handling the engineering, operations, and technology that keep those properties running, a service known in the industry as technical integrated facilities management (IFM). The company oversees more than 65,000 facilities totaling over 620 million square feet globally with a team of more than 12,000. Gord Hicks continues as chief executive officer and will lead the business with his management team. CCMP and AIMCo had backed BGIS since 2019. Veritas Capital, a technology investor focused on companies operating at the intersection of technology and government, manages over $54 billion in assets. James Dimitri, partner and co-head of flagship private equity at Veritas, led the transaction for the firm.
