Requirements
  • An active Licensed Vocational Nurse license in California is required.
  • At least 1 year of Licensed Vocational Nurse experience within the last 3 years is required.
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross, including a live demonstration, is required.
  • A negative tuberculosis test or chest X-ray completed within the last 12 months is required.
  • A physical examination completed within the last 12 months is required.
  • Completion of a clinical skills assessment is required.
  • Completion of sexual harassment prevention training is required.
Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care based on specific care plans and physician orders.
  • Collaborate with physicians, supervisors, and other providers.
  • Educate patients and families about conditions and treatments.
  • Accurately chart and report changes in patient conditions.
  • Communicate with families and staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
