- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering; seeking Bachelors of Science in Engineering with PE license (PE) and/or EIT aiming toward PE; open to Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with solid structural experience.
- Professional Engineer license preferred; Civil Engineer License or Structural Engineer License preferred; however, being an Engineer-in-Training aiming to become PE is acceptable.
- Experience with structural calculations, steel and wood analysis, and component calculations (roofing, sheathing, fasteners, etc.).
- Experience with wood, steel, or hybrid construction (integrated steel chassis) preferred.
- Experience with Building Construction Design and basic exposure to related Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing design elements.
- Software experience including Microsoft Excel, Computer-Aided Design for mark-ups, and RISA and/or similar structural design tools.
- Strong communication and ability to collaborate with teams in Engineering, Sales, Estimating, Production, etc.
- Ability to design, review, and stamp designs as engineer of record; may require supplemental engineering and calculations for pre-engineered standards.
- Conduct calculations and analyses to support the design of prefabricated structures.
- Use advanced engineering techniques and software to evaluate the strength and stability of prefabricated structures.
- Ensure that designs meet all relevant codes and regulations.
- Design, review, and stamping of designs by the engineer of record for pre-engineered standards; may require supplemental engineering and calculations.
- Licensed Engineer (Professional Engineer or Civil/Structural Engineer) preferred.
- Experience with prefabricated structures, pre-engineered buildings or prefabricated structures in a manufacturer setting.
- Experience with Building Construction Design and related MEP design elements at a basic level.
- Hybrid work arrangement or remote/hybrid flexibility per location.
- Salary range anticipated at $110,000 to $140,000 dependent on experience.
