Responsibilities
  • Planning, coordinating, and executing Security Cooperation activities with foreign partners
  • Serving as subject matter expert on Security Cooperation and providing advice to the Commander
  • Providing regional expertise and supporting the development of Security Cooperation campaign plans and strategies
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with foreign partners to advance Security Cooperation objectives
  • Conducting country and regional analyses to identify Security Cooperation opportunities and challenges
  • Developing and implementing Security Cooperation plans and strategies in support of national security objectives
  • Coordinating with other U.S. government agencies, international organizations, and non-governmental organizations to achieve Security Cooperation objectives
  • Providing training and capacity building support to foreign partners
  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of Security Cooperation activities
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Security Cooperation policy and procedures relevant to the Space Domain
  • Experience working with foreign partners and international organizations
  • Knowledge of U.S. government policies and procedures related to security cooperation
  • Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Master's degree in International Relations, Security Studies, or Political Science
  • Completion of Foreign Area Officer (FAO) training
  • Completion of security cooperation training courses
  • Security Cooperation Certification (SCC)
  • Joint Security Cooperation Course (JSCC) Certification
  • Security Cooperation Management Course (SCMC) Certification
