As a Director of Product for Retrieval Operations in the Payer Product organization, you will lead the product strategy and execution to enable Datavant to best service our Payer customers and deliver valuable outcomes to both Payers and Providers You will be in charge of building a suite of internal tools and enterprise capabilities that powers our internal operations teams to deliver high-quality products and service experiences to our customers. This area is central to orchestrating the interplay of digital and manual workflows at the core of healthcare information exchange.
In this role you will:
- Create the vision for Datavant’s powerful product suite that enables the country’s largest health data network’s operations teams and how our capabilities will advance our ability to fulfill our mission, deliver on customer needs, and meet our goals.
- Own the product roadmap, working with Ops leadership, executive team, product, engineering and other stakeholders across the company.
- Treat the product as a business, delivering rapid revenue and cost savings by directing how customer use cases, capabilities, positioning, and more come together to create a winning product with a large positive impact on the business.
- Scale and lead a world-class team of product managers and product designers who are high performing and autonomous and deliver excellence.
- Be the champion & driver of product innovation processes & initiatives.
- Maintain a strong working relationship with leaders across the company, including operations, sales, customer success, implementations, legal and marketing. You understand their perspectives and what they value and use that to keep them updated on roadmap and general product developments and benefits.
- Have a deep understanding of the use cases we power, our clients’ businesses, and the broader Datavant ecosystem. Use that understanding to create our strategy and anticipate needs & risks.
- Be hands-on by leading high impact efforts.
- Be a strong communicator, coach, and mentor.
What You Bring to the Table:
- 10-12 years of product management experience and at least 5 years managing high-performing product management and design teams

The range posted is for a given job title, which can include multiple levels. Individual rates for the same job title may differ based on their level, responsibilities, skills, and experience for a specific job. The estimated total cash compensation range for this role is $250,000 - $315,000.
