Requirements
  • At least 10 years of experience in marketing, agency, advertising, advertising sales, business development, partnerships, or a related commercial discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience building and executing strategic customer, agency, or commercial growth plans.
  • At least 10 years of experience working with United Kingdom-based agencies or comparable partnership environments.
  • Business fluency in English.
Responsibilities
  • Own sustainable growth across a defined agency portfolio, including accountability for commercial outcomes, product adoption, and customer value.
  • Diagnose growth opportunities and translate LinkedIn Marketing Solutions priorities into focused agency and account plans.
  • Convert strategy into execution through clear priorities, owners, milestones, measures, and follow-through.
  • Build trusted, multi-threaded agency relationships and executive advocacy behind shared growth plans.
  • Partner with Field Sales and cross-functional teams to activate agency influence, accelerate priority accounts, and remove growth barriers.
  • Build agency capabilities, programs, and repeatable motions to scale impact beyond individual engagements.
  • Build strategic growth plans that connect agency insight, customer priorities, commercial opportunity, and LinkedIn strategic priorities to clear outcomes and choices.
  • Build executive sponsorship and multi-threaded relationships to secure commitments, navigate organizational complexity, resolve trade-offs, and accelerate shared growth priorities.
  • Lead plans from opportunity identification through activation and measurement to drive sustainable, scaled growth.
  • Establish an effective operating rhythm within the customer portfolio.
  • Test practical interventions, adapt plans based on evidence, and ensure commitments become completed actions with measurable outcomes.
  • Develop and activate joint partnerships that unlock shared growth priorities.
  • Mobilize Product, Marketing, Insights and Measurement, Video, Field Sales, Agency Development, and other partners around shared outcomes and executable plans.
  • Identify priority agency-influenced growth opportunities with Field Sales and define where Agency Development can have the greatest impact.
  • Co-create account-level agency strategies that broaden stakeholder coverage, move engagement upstream, and connect agency influence to customer decisions.
  • Activate agency stakeholders across planning, investment, strategy, measurement, analytics, creative, and leadership functions.
  • Support full-funnel growth, video adoption, measurement activation, transformational programs, and commercial partnerships aligned with customer opportunity.
  • Represent agency insight internally while maintaining shared accountability for translating insight into action and commercial progress.
  • Diagnose capability gaps and design focused interventions to improve adoption or customer value.
  • Develop and implement education, business reviews, product updates, strategic workshops, and other programs linked to specific growth outcomes.
  • Adapt narratives and solutions to agency business models, workflows, and decision processes.
  • Identify successful practices, codify them into reusable playbooks, and drive adoption across relevant agencies and internal teams.
  • Use artificial intelligence to synthesize evidence, strengthen customer stories, improve planning, and increase execution speed and quality.
  • Maintain knowledge of agency economics, operating models, industry trends, and LinkedIn solutions.
  • Translate market and agency intelligence into recommendations, growth plays, and improvements to LinkedIn’s go-to-market approach.
  • Bring a credible point of view to senior and executive agency conversations, connecting LinkedIn capabilities to agency strategic and commercial priorities.
  • Identify emerging use cases and opportunities, then test and scale those with strong customer and business impact.
  • Contribute an agency perspective to internal strategy, product, and commercial discussions.

LinkedIn shuts Israel office, lays off nearly all 50 staff after $80M Oribi acquisition

LinkedIn is closing its Tel Aviv development centre and laying off nearly all of its roughly 50 employees. A small number will remain temporarily to handle ongoing business activities. The Microsoft-owned company opened the office in 2022 after acquiring Oribi, an Israel-based analytics startup founded by Iris Shoor, for an estimated $80 million to $90 million. At the time, LinkedIn said Oribi's technology would improve campaign attribution and measure website conversions. A LinkedIn spokesperson said the company is proposing changes to some roles to focus its teams on top priorities. The closure comes as Microsoft cuts costs, including a recent move to lay off 9,000 employees, though available information does not directly tie the Israel layoffs to broader restructuring.

LinkedIn launches paid advice sessions for premium users to monetise expertise

LinkedIn is rolling out a new feature for premium business subscribers that allows them to offer paid one-to-one advice sessions directly from their profiles. The tool, called Advice Sessions, enables followers to book and pay for consultations without leaving the platform. Derek Notman, founder of Intrepid Wealth Partners, said the feature could be particularly valuable for financial advisers seeking growth through new client connections. "It allows me to offer whatever services I want and get paid for it," Notman said. The launch comes as North American wealth managers have enjoyed annual growth rates of about 10% in assets under management over the past decade, though only 30% of that growth was organic, with the rest mainly attributable to market performance.

Microsoft's $20B ad business gets new leader as AI reshapes advertising landscape
