Requirements
  • Associate of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology Certification, or equivalent relevant commercial or military work experience.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience with Automatic Test Equipment and Test Program Sets, or equivalent electronics technician experience.
  • Experience fabricating and assembling complex electronic hardware and hardware assemblies in accordance with approved military standards and specifications is desired.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.
Responsibilities
  • Perform integration and testing of complex electronic Automated Test Systems.
  • Remove and replace Tester Replaceable Units, upgrade and load software, and perform Tester Replaceable Unit calibration and functional testing.
  • Perform test station confidence verification and calibration.
  • Set up and test Line Replaceable Units or Units Under Test according to Technical Order instructions or engineering direction.
  • Troubleshoot failed instruments or components and maintain documented failure analysis results.
  • Repair and test Interface Test Adapters and wiring harnesses, including fabrication and test station maintenance.
  • Support integration and testing according to Acceptance Test Procedures and customer-specific requirements.
  • Systematically troubleshoot and isolate faults to resolve equipment failures.
  • Convey test-result data to other departments.
  • Use Microsoft Office products, Windows, and general computer systems.
  • Organize and update documentation tracking items in the repair or rework process and verify repaired-item functionality.
