What we are looking for:
We are looking for a EMEA based Renewals Specialist to join our team. Fluency in English and French required.
What you will be doing:
Renewal Specialists own and execute a portfolio of renewal contracts of Semperis customers across an assigned account base, per Gross and Net Revenue Retention targets defined for the year and quarter. Renewal Specialists work internally and with customer decision makers to develop a holistic view of the account’s renewal position (trending Churn, Risk, Win), and define a strategy (Renewal Close Plan) in consultation with the Sales Director to drive renewals to on-time closure, as well as minimize renewal risk and financial attrition.
You are expected to bring a strong knowledge of negotiation strategies and purchase options, and coordinate with cross-functional resources (especially the assigned CSM and Sales Director, but also Finance and Legal as needed) to provide a unified path to securing renewals.
You will help maximize account growth by identifying incremental opportunities in close coordination with the Sales Director fitting for the contract renewal. You will also strive for early, multi-year renewals that provide predictable revenue and longer-term commitments that benefit both the business and manageability of your portfolio.
Responsibilities:
Contract Renewal Management – Oversee the entire process of renewing customer contracts or subscriptions. Develop and implement strategies to ensure high renewal rates while identifying any churn risks.
Customer and Channel Communication – Interact with customers and our channel community to understand their needs, address concerns, and negotiate contract terms and pricing of renewals
Negotiation – Collaborate with sales, customer success, and other teams to negotiate terms, pricing and help to identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products or services.
Forecasting – Develop and maintain accurate forecasts of renewal rates, revenue projections, and other relevant metrics. Be able to provide insights and data-driven recommendations for business planning
Customer Retention – Work to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty through a smooth and positive renewal experience through addressing customer concerns and proactively identity opportunities to add value.
Strategic Problem Solving – Approach renewals strategically for the overall customer lifecycle, market trends and the competitive lifecycle
What you will bring to the table:
BS/BA (or equivalent) plus 5+ years related sales experience and 3+ years of experience managing SaaS renewals for enterprise customers in a high growth, multi-product environment.
Experience in an enterprise solution sales environment, having partnered with Sales to develop and close opportunities $100K+ in ARR.
Experience preferred with cybersecurity technologies, including identity security products
Proven track record in delivering excellent gross and net revenue retention results against pre-defined goals and targets.
Excellent communications skills (written and verbal) used to establish and maintain client executive relationships, including budget owner / buyers and VP or C level stakeholders.
Proven ability to establish strong relationships with your internal resources (Sales, CS, Product, Finance, Legal) to provide the most for your customers.
Expert commercial negotiation skills and financial acumen, with the proven ability to manage and accurately forecast against a book of renewable business.
Ability to demonstrate a strategic mindset to enable persuasive value conversations with customers at an executive level.
Proficiency with business applications such as Salesforce, CPQ
Fluent in English and French (Other EMEA business languages advantage)
