Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in a civil engineering discipline is required.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD is desired, with Civil 3D experience considered a bonus.
  • A valid driver's license and good driving record are required.
  • The candidate should be able to think critically, maintain attention to detail, communicate effectively, and manage multiple priorities.
Responsibilities
  • Use AutoCAD Civil 3D and hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software such as HEC-RAS to design water resource and infrastructure projects, including flood control measures, drainage solutions, levees, and hydraulic structures.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate creative solutions into project designs.
  • Prepare design computations, reports, and quantity estimates under the supervision of a licensed engineer.
  • Assist in preparing plans, specifications, and permit applications.
  • Support construction activities through on-site observation and coordination to ensure successful project execution.
  • Communicate with clients and project teams and contribute ideas and insights.
