- Minimum B.S. in biomedical engineering, chemistry or other related fields.
- Minimum 2 years of work in research or related industry.
- Strong ability in wet lab related laboratory techniques and testing procedures.
- Experience with handling biological specimens in a BSL-2 laboratory.
- Collaborate with team members on various research and development projects, providing technical expertise and assistance as needed.
- Conduct wet laboratory experiments, including pipetting, working in biosafety cabinets, and utilizing various laboratory tools and equipment for accurate data collection.
- Apply knowledge of electrochemistry to perform hands-on characterization of electrodes, utilizing advanced techniques to assess performance and reliability.
- Maintain meticulous records, including laboratory notebooks, equipment logs, and test run logs, ensuring all data is properly documented and organized.
- Gain and apply expertise in formulation, fabrication, manufacturing, assembly methods and processes for device and test card development.
- Perform other duties as requested to support the laboratory’s goals and objectives.
- Experience in Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS), Chronoamperometry (CA), Cyclic Voltammetry (CV), Linear Sweep Voltammetry (LSV); Nice to have.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office

IRVINE, CA., July 2, 2020 – California-based Fluxergy will work with Mass General Brigham (MGB), a major health system in Massachusetts, to further evaluate Fluxergy’s innovative Research Use Only (RUO) COVID-19 testing platform, designed to deliver accurate PCR test results in under one hour.
In March, Fluxergy announced that it was similarly working with a team at the University of California, San Diego, to evaluate its system for COVID-19 testing.
