Who You Are: Someone who is seeking to use their Frontend Software Engineer skills in a way that positively impacts environmental change.

Responsibilities

Translate the design and UI/UX vision into working code
Build web experiences using React.js
Build support for all screen sizes
Collaborate with the engineering team to develop features
Own features from start to finish
Work independently
Write clean, scalable, maintainable code
Participate in code reviews
Keep the team up-to-date in daily standups
Provide mentorship to junior developers

Required Skills and Abilities

Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
3+ years building production applications with frontend frameworks
Mastery of React.js and best practices
JavaScript, Redux, CSS3, SASS, HTML5
Babel, Webpack, NPM
RESTful APIs, AJAX, JSON
Experience with web standards, cross-browser compatibility, accessibility and SEO
Unit testing with Jest or equivalent
Adept at problem solving and critical thinking
Strong debugging skills
Meticulous code review
Strong communication skills
Version control with Git/Github
