Requirements
  • Four to six years of related work experience is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • The applicant must be at least 18 years of age.
  • The applicant must be able to stand for long periods while installing glass.
  • The applicant must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • The applicant must be able to use their hands efficiently when handling glass.
  • The applicant must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate hand and power tools and equipment are required.
  • The applicant must be able to complete the background check, motor vehicle record, and drug screening processes.
Responsibilities
  • Install auto glass and other auto glass products in the shop or on a mobile basis.
  • Use proper tools and techniques to provide efficient, timely, and quality installation service for customers.
  • Complete and submit required paperwork to the appropriate person or location.
  • Maintain a safe and acceptable driving record in accordance with company policy.
  • Perform auto glass repairs as needed.
  • Load glass into the truck as needed.
  • Follow up immediately with the Glass Manager regarding problems that arise during glass installation.
  • Maintain high levels of quality control.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Ensure that all required equipment is operating properly.
  • Report any accident or incident immediately to the Glass Manager.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures outlined in the employee handbook.
  • Maintain a good rapport with supervisors and co-workers.

  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • A sign-on bonus may be available for experienced technicians.
