Requirements
  • 2+ years of system administration, device lifecycle management, or cloud SRE experience with a relevant degree or equivalent experience.
  • Expertise with Windows, Mac, or Linux system administration and device lifecycle management.
  • Experience with automation and tool development, preferably using Go or Python.
  • Problem-solving, negotiation, prioritization, and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
  • Implement scalable solutions to manage Aurora's physical and virtual client platforms (Ubuntu, Mac, Windows)
  • Ensure client platforms have appropriate security patches, configuration, and software packages through base image creation, provisioning scripts, and ongoing device management
  • Implement, test, and rollout required configuration and software changes to client platforms
  • Handle escalations from IT Support, with an emphasis on mentoring and empowering IT Support to address similar problems
  • Participate in the InfoSec SRE 24/7 oncall rotation supporting InfoSec services
