Nextiva is excited to welcome a Sales Development Manager (SDM) to oversee the optimization and scale of our Small Business (SB) SDR team. As the SDR Manager, you’ll report to the Director of Sales and be the catalyst responsible for an effective lead qualification process of our inbound sales funnel, including lead optimization and process improvement, fueling Nextiva’s growth. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leadership success with both inbound and outbound sales teams and remain hyper-vigilant in their team’s contribution to Nextiva’s growth objectives.

- Is customer experience-obsessed: Optimizing SDR performance at every turn with heavy emphasis on our prospect’s experience; ensuring their first point of contact with our brand is nothing short of AMAZING!
- Is agile: Adapts to market changes, constantly refining customer engagement tactics, and ensures the team’s sales efforts remain in lockstep with the GTM strategy.
- Has grit (and a small dose of humble pie): Where nothing is beneath them, they’ll find a way to win and do whatever it takes to ensure the team crosses the finish line together.
- Is a self-driven trailblazer; takes charge when no one is watching. Sets goals and drives growth without constant supervision. An inspiration to others with your proactive approach.
- Hates to lose: No, we’re not kidding! We want warrior spirit and the unremitting ability to hunt for ways to win! Complacency and complaints don’t live here.
Responsibilities
- Daily top-of-funnel lead management and performance of a team of 10 SDR’s.
- Maniacial inspection on lead distribution to maximize conversion rates.
- Ideate on automations; follow-up sequences, voicemail drops, LinkedIn connections, and more.
- Create a positive and growth-oriented work environment where teammates can reach their full potential; offering enablement and development to SDR’s who seek advancement opportunities (i.e., career progression to AE role).
- Drive for sustainable results, and don’t stop until you get there.
Requirements
- Have you done the role? 3+ years as an individual contributor (SDR and/or AE), preferred.
- Have you led a team before? 3+ years of sales leadership experience, preferred.
- Experience with CRM (Salesforce, preferred), data insight applications (Hubspot, Gong, ZoomInfo) and sales engagement platforms (Outreach, Salesloft).
- Excited to tackle problems and find creative solutions; you will be working closely with the RevOps & Marketing teams to assess performance.
