We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join a growing finance team. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and providing strategic financial insights to support decision-making processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and analytical individual to contribute to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Assist in the preparation of internal and external financial reports for management and stakeholders.
Oversee the integrity and accuracy of the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers.
Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles and internal controls.
Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and special projects.
Evaluate investment opportunities and business cases to assess their financial viability.
Provide insightful analysis and recommendations to senior management.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in the distribution or manufacturing industry.
Thorough understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting requirements.
