Summary & Scope
The Distribution Analyst will support the Club Monaco Stores business inclusive of the US and Canada stores through allocating and replenishing merchandise from the Distribution Center to stores based on the targets set for each location, with the pursuit of getting the right products to the right place at just the right time. This person is responsible for executing the strategic initiatives within their division; while analyzing, identifying and communicating sales opportunities and providing risk-mitigating recommendations. Reporting to the Manager of Business Planning & Allocations, this individual will work with Field leads, Merchandise Planning, Business Planning, Visual and Operation teams to execute allocation strategies.
Allocation & Inventory Management Responsibilities
- Run daily and weekly sales reporting to aid in business analysis and strategy development, report out results to cross functional teams. Recap high level performance
- Execute monthly initial inventory releases; ensures consistent and profitable in-season replenishment
- Partner with Planning & Merchandising to understand & execute omni-channel inventory distribution strategies
- Develop thorough knowledge of regional, district and store level performance through data analysis and field partnership
- Execute all wholesale account order fulfillment
- Partner with PD, Ops, Merchandising, Business Planning & the DC to ensure that product is at the right place at the right time
- Partner with Merchandising and Planning to execute a sizing process that maximizes the probability of ordering productive inventory
- Partner with Merchandising and Planning to create store segmentation for product capsules, testing strategies and other initiatives
- Participate in distribution meetings, business reviews, product reviews, store visits and other business meetings as needed
- Collaborate with store operations to build efficient and effective merchandise deliveries for initials and replenishment
- Collaborate with field leadership to diagnose product and store planning opportunities, utilizing store visits to cultivate relationships
- Establish cross-functional relationships to promote best practices and process adherence, fostering teamwork
- Maximize profitability and reduce operational expenses between store and E-Commerce channels
Requirements
- Bachelors degree required
- 1-2 years of allocation or related field experience (preferred)
- Computer proficiency in MS Office: Excel, Outlook, Word
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills supporting a team environment
- Excellent English communication skills - verbal and written
- Excellent time management/project skills
- Strong planning and organizational skills with a sense of priority for deadlines and attention to detail
- Experience with MicroStrategy, JDA, & SAP (preferred)
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York, Club Monaco includes a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role. This accounts for the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications.
A reasonable estimate of the current compensation is $65,000 a year.
