The transaction involved exercising stock options at $205.66 and selling at a weighted average price of $372.79. The sale represents a routine liquidity event rather than a significant divestment. Tyler Technologies, which provides software solutions to government agencies, reported 8% sales growth and 35% free cash flow growth in its most recent quarter. The company trades at 28 times free cash flow and has authorised a $1.5 billion share buyback programme against its $15.2 billion market capitalisation.

Tyler Technologies raises 2030 financial targets after cloud transition success

Tyler Technologies has raised its 2030 financial targets following a successful cloud transition, according to Andvari Associates' second-quarter 2026 investor letter. The software provider for state and local government has shifted more than 95% of new-client total contract value to SaaS, migrated approximately 5,000 hosted customers onto AWS, and exited its final private data centre on schedule. Since its 2023 investor day, Tyler has met or exceeded its 2025 interim targets. The company's remaining on-premise maintenance base represents a significant conversion opportunity, with each maintenance-to-SaaS transition expected to increase recurring revenue by roughly 1.7 times before additional cross-selling. On 28 August 2026, Tyler Technologies closed at $377.94 per share with a market capitalisation of $15.48 billion.

Wall Street analysts bullish on Tyler Technologies despite 34% stock decline

Tyler Technologies has underperformed the broader market, with shares falling 34.1% over the past year whilst the S&P 500 Index rallied 19.3%. The Plano, Texas-based software company, which provides integrated information management solutions to government offices, has a market capitalisation of $15.1 billion. The decline stems from valuation re-rating and slowing revenue growth rather than operational issues. Quarterly revenue growth settled into high single digits, making the company's premium valuation difficult to sustain despite strong recurring subscription revenue. In its Q2 results reported on 29 July, Tyler Technologies posted adjusted earnings per share of $3.08, beating expectations of $3.06. However, revenue of $645.1 million missed forecasts of $647 million. For the full year, the company expects adjusted EPS between $12.95 and $13.20.

OuterSpatial launches digital passport for every National Forest and Grassland.

OuterSpatial launches digital passport for every National Forest and Grassland. August 27, 2026. Free program invites visitors to check in, collect badges, and explore all 154 National Forests and 20 National Grasslands. (August 27, 2026) /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ - Every national forest and grassland now has a badge of its own. OuterSpatial today launched the National Forests and Grasslands Passport, a free digital experience available through the OuterSpatial app that lets visitors check in, collect badges, and build a personal record of their visits across all 154 national forests and 20 national grasslands. The program is a partnership between OuterSpatial, the National Forest Foundation, the U.S. Forest Service, and Tyler Technologies. Hundreds of millions of people visit America's national forests and grasslands every year. The Passport spans 44 U.S. states and Puerto Rico, from the Tongass National Forest in Alaska to the Apalachicola National Forest in Florida, the Oglala National Grassland in Nebraska, and El Yunque National Forest in Puerto Rico. For the first time, visitors can explore the full national forests and grasslands system through one connected digital experience. Developed with guidance from the U.S. Forest Service, the Passport is built around unique badges for each National Forest and Grassland, inspired by the real landscapes, flora, and fauna people encounter on the ground. Over time, those badges become part of a larger travel story, from familiar favorites close to home to new destinations across the country. Past trips count too: visitors can add forests and grasslands from earlier journeys to begin their collection with a lifetime of memories, then keep it growing as they check in during future trips. "Each badge is worth earning on its own, but what I love is what they become over time," said Ryan Branciforte, CEO of OuterSpatial. "When visitors add photos and comments to their check-ins, the Passport becomes a living logbook of the locations they've been to, and the ones still ahead. That's the part I'm most excited about." The National Forest Foundation, which has worked to protect and improve America's forests and grasslands for decades, sees the Passport as one more way to bring people closer to that mission. "As our country continues honoring its 250th anniversary year, there's no better time to celebrate the public lands that define this nation," said Dieter Fenkart-Froeschl, President & CEO of the National Forest Foundation. "The National Forests and Grasslands Passport is an invitation to explore, build lifelong memories, and become a National Forest champion for these treasured places that lasts well beyond this milestone year." About OuterSpatial OuterSpatial helps parks and recreation and public lands organizations create better digital visitor experiences and stronger community engagement. Working with organizations across the U.S. and beyond, the platform powers discovery, trip planning, navigation, reservations, and on-location programs - including challenges, passport experiences, and badge systems - through mobile and web apps.
