Emily's List is a political organization that helps elect women who support education, health care, voting rights, and economic equality. It works by identifying qualified candidates, recruiting them, and providing fundraising, training, and campaign support to win elections. Its approach relies on a strategic, data-informed plan to run campaigns that advance progressive change and place more women in public office. The organization sets itself apart by concentrating on a pipeline of candidates who align with its policy goals and by offering targeted resources and support to build campaigns that can compete in elections. The goal is to increase the number of women in government who can influence policy and drive progress on social and economic issues.
