Westlake Plastics manufactures extrusion and compression molding of high-performance thermoplastics. It converts thermoplastic resins into stock shapes and film using its extrusion and compression molding technologies, supplying parts for applications such as medical devices, semiconductors, and aerospace. The company focuses on serving customers in heavily regulated environments and aims to be an extension of its clients’ operations by acting as a material supplier partner. Compared with competitors, Westlake emphasizes its global leadership, broad resin handling, diverse market reach, and its role as a collaborative partner that supports customers’ manufacturing needs rather than merely supplying material.
