Share builds wireless mesh networks to extend internet access in underserved regions, letting retail investors fund and own the infrastructure. The networks use linked radio nodes that smartly route data in short hops, forming a self-healing system that tackles last-mile connectivity. Assets are tokenized and traded on a Web3 platform, so investors earn from real-world connectivity while contributors receive crypto incentives. By uniting fragmented infrastructure into a community-owned network in the global south, Share aims to turn connectivity into an investable asset class that expands affordable internet and financial inclusion.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • April 2026 coverage exceeded eight million people, signaling rapid network adoption.
  • June 2026 site data showed 16 infrastructure providers, 45 data centers, and 12,000 fiber routes.
  • iColo’s April 2026 partnership widened Share’s Nairobi and Mombasa distribution footprint.

What critics are saying

  • Share’s 2026 model depends on Kenya licenses and neighbor approvals before regional expansion.
  • 12 provider buy-in still leaves concentrated counterparty risk across fibers, data centers, and CDNs.
  • If demand stalls before 2026 volume targets, the capital-intensive backbone story breaks.

What makes Share unique

  • Share aggregates Kenya’s fragmented ISP capacity into one open-access bandwidth marketplace.
  • April 2026 Greenfield-backed expansion and iColo campuses give Share carrier-neutral distribution.
  • Share’s software layer ties routing, billing, and revenue-sharing into one operating system.
