Responsibilities
  • Manage PAR levels for assigned clinical areas and departments and monitor utilization trends to maintain appropriate stock levels for patient care.
  • Perform routine cycle counts, pull, rotate, and restock inventory and PAR locations using first-in, first-out methodology, and investigate inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked supply areas across assigned locations and central distribution in compliance with hospital standards.
  • Dispose of cardboard, packing materials, and trash each shift.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to adjust PAR levels, add or remove products, and optimize inventory.
  • Assist with product recalls and regulatory compliance processes.
  • Restock central distribution areas daily and across shifts and maintain a pick-ready environment without open cardboard.
  • Receive, inspect, and open packages to verify contents against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Verify distributor deliveries to confirm the correct items and quantities received.
  • Identify and report discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods at delivery and assist with resolution.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, returns, and discrepancies and file them accordingly.
  • Prioritize receiving and delivery of urgent or critical items.
  • Ensure deliveries are made to the correct location and capture deliveries in Workday with appropriate photographic documentation.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient receiving area.
  • Assist departments with supply needs and inquiries, answer incoming calls, and staff the service window as needed.
  • Accurately process and issue supplies before they leave the warehouse.
  • Process and deliver departmental supply requisitions to the correct locations and ensure packing slips accompany all deliveries.
  • Participate in and assist with annual physical inventory processes.
  • Train and mentor Supply Chain Technician I staff.
Desired Qualifications
  • Two to four years of healthcare supply chain or inventory management experience is preferred.
