Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience is required.
  • The ability to review and analyze information and data, identify questions or problems, and conduct research to determine possible solutions is required.
  • The ability to organize and present information to small and large groups in an informative manner is required.
Responsibilities
  • Define project scope in conjunction with leadership and establish project objectives and evaluation measures.
  • Determine required resources and establish comprehensive project plans and timelines that sequence project activities.
  • Review project schedules with leadership and staff affected by project activities.
  • Monitor project progress, make adjustments, notify management of issues and risks, and assist with resolution.
  • Consult with leadership on selecting project staff and assign project tasks to the project team.
  • Ensure project personnel receive appropriate orientation and that employees are trained in internal controls and University policies and procedures.
  • Manage project staff according to established organizational policies and practices.
  • Review the quality of project team work to ensure deliverables meet project standards.
  • Document project activities and maintain and secure project files.
  • Create communication schedules and provide project status reports and presentations to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Establish and continuously assess internal controls and compliance with University policies and procedures.
  • Track metrics and return on investment for projects and report on them.
  • Pursue operational improvements and provide management with productivity and status reports.
  • Manage and coordinate complex, high-priority clinical research projects and initiatives for the Office of the Executive Dean for Research.
  • Support committees focused on clinical research projects and initiatives.
  • Provide quality assurance for assigned deliverables.
  • Manage and coordinate agendas, meetings, and workflows for assigned project and committee meetings.
  • Facilitate communication and serve as a resource for project-related milestones, including kickoff, progress updates, closure, and handoffs.
  • Schedule meetings, track meetings, and take minutes.
  • Perform other assigned tasks and special projects.
Desired Qualifications
  • A master's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Certification in a relevant specialty or field is strongly encouraged.
